bad skip!!!

hey guys need some help...

been workin on my buddies car, 2000 prelude with auto tranny. it has a BAD skip when its cold and it appears to be tied in to #2 & #4 cylinders. pull eithe rplug wire and nothing happens to the idle pull #1 or #3 and the idle drops. once car is warm it SEEMS to be better but its still there.

items replaced: rotor, cap, wires ands plugs

also just did a timing belt, waterpump and all seals...

it had the problem before i recieved it to work on but i told him i would try and locate the issue....no luck so far.

anybody have any ideas? ANY help would be greatly appreciated
