Back-end problems

Hey so today on my way to school i decided to take the turns i take day in and day out. After this one turn i took my back-end just gave out on me I almost lost control of the car. Anything might help that problem?

Sway bar?
Tie-down car?
Strut bars?
Lowering car with true coilover setup? i.e TEIN HA?

any suggestions? haha or just take it slower

BTW i was going about 50mph-ish going into a turn about 50-60 degrees acute angle. the sign said max safe speed was 20mph.

haha too bad i don't have an SH everybody was like oh you will never feel the difference between the two unless you take it to the limit. That was a year ago and i never thought of myself doing stuff like this but now i wish i could use the ATTS

blah, SH SmeshH. I take the 80+ degree turn in front of my neighborhood at 55mph and barely squeal my Kumhos with my base lude (koni yellows and neuspeed sports). The rear end does get a little loose above 55 though. What gear were you in? Drop it down a gear and punch it through the curve

just do a suspension upgrade and you will be making faster turns than a heavy SH

springs/shocks
strut bars
sway bars
and of course dc sports lower tie bar (for looks only)

why would you be driving around on the streets like that anyways that foolish you can endanger someone else. Keep it on the track and if you cant control this car then maybe you should take a driving school course. Upgrade the tires thats a good way to increase grip to the road, JoeW is correct Kumhos are awsome tires to have.

heavy SH? yeah i guess you're right if you consider the extra 60-70lbs for the SH heavy

If you put on a rear swaybar then it will make the back end looser. To take the corners just do like shocks and springs that kinda ****. As far as the SH goes, it is nice if you dan't plan on doing heavy mods. Some of the aftermarket parts are more expensive than the base. An aftermarket LSD works better than the ATTS plus without all the extra weight. Stock to stock the SH will really outhandle the base model but the base is better for modding.
This is my opinion, I am not trying to start an argument I'm just adding my thoughts to the thread.

look up the price on a Jackson Supercharger for a base then an SH. Last time I checked the SH was like 300-500 more.

ok thats ONE part... but most non-FI applications e.g CAI, Cam Gears, Pullies, etc... cost exactly the same...

Of course they are the same. It is just some parts that have to do with suspension or go near the transmission area. I'm not saying all parts, just some.
My main point was about the LSD.

and do you know why?
besides, that's a system - not a part.
reason for the price difference is due to the oil filter location being different on the block.
