I drive over 45 miles one way to work, so that's 450 miles a week alone. Add the weekends and the occasional trips....roughly 25k a year.

I'm at nearly 75K with my '97. I *was* driving 500mi/wk to work but, thank God, I've changed jobs and only do about 100/wk plus trips.

i bought my car new in mid january 2001, and as of mid october 2001, i had 27,000miles on it... i drive a lot so 27k miles in 9months or 3k miles/month... so in a year i guess i would drive 36k miles... but i crashed my car in mid october and it's been in the shop ever since so i won't have as much miles as i predicted for this yr...

i think i have the most miles/month or miles/year for a 5th gen...

Mine is just over four years old (delivered Nov 27, '97) and has 57000km or 35000 miles. Way below average (13k miles the norm.)

20,000 km/year is the general average. Do the math yourself, and you can determine if your car is over or under mileage.

Got the car May 29, 2001 with 26 miles, Today it has 13080 miles on it. Hit 13000 last night. The weird thing is, I work 10 miles from home.

I bought my 99 with 14k miles on it last january. It wasn't driven for about two months and right now I have almost 37k on it. I drive 17 miles one way to work, the rest is just driving for this, that and the other thing. Oh yeah and it's not even close to being a full 12 months worth of driving yet.
