Now this may or may not help you.

Hmmm...was it intermittent like my problem?

Also to everyone who commented on this thread...I forgot to mention this ONLY happens when the car is on, engine and all. Say if I put it in park and keep it running for a few minutes it will happen and again this has only happened like 4 - 6 times, most of the time it will shift out of park.

Anyway im going to test wires and if all is good from there, im going to put the solenoid in, hopefully i'll have it done next week just been so damn busy.

Well Merry F'ing Christmas its the trans =( just took a 4 hour trip this weekend and when I got back into town the the D4 on the dash starting flashing and trans is winding out also I can get out of park only if im lucky now. Going to take it to a local trans guy in a week and get an opinion, most likely not going to get it fixed/rebuilt cause these are the crappiest of transmissions ever designed.

Thinking about dealing with the pain with my foot (i don't drive it much anyway, just to work) and finding out about a 5 spd swap. Anybody in FL do this?
