I would like to talk to someone but thats so damn far I LIVE IN MARYLAND !!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU KNOWof any place around here that does those kind of swaps, also you were lucky to find the totalled Prelude SH ... Now all ihave to do is find a prelude and buy it and take everything out and swap into mines ... Did you encounter any problems with your engine/transmission?

sup guys, in case you're interested some guy is
selling an SH Tranny with less than 8000 miles on
it on ebay, just search for "prelude" under "ebay motors parts and accessories", and you'll find it.

hey pearl, question for you

I am doing the swap this week but my shop said something about an immobilizer built into the ecu? he said that the car won't start with a ecu from a different 5th gen because of something in the key or something like that. is this true? did you run into anything like that

might be because of the new ludes have the imm. or that yours is not a USDM.

i used my same key and actually untill i had my jdm type sh ecu in i ran a 94 gs-r ecu 97 type r ecu and a then finally mine. so im not sure. let me know

The only swaps I've heard or read about was auto ->base 5spd.

And no I'm not calling

I'm just curious.
Actually, the base model 5spd tranny will bolt up to the block of an SH..I know this cause thats how my car is now. I had to do a motor swap, and now I have an SH motor in my base model Prelude, and no I don't have the ATTS system...
