Auto to manual trans swap, where to buy the trans?

Hey everyone,
My trans is totally hosed, changing trans fluid didn't help much, gears slip real bad. The Honda tech said there were all kinds of metal shavings in the fluid, which explains a lot. I need to get the trans swapped out quickly so I have reliable transportation to work ASAP. I have a shop lined up (SlowMotion in Columbus) to do the auto to manual tranny swap, but I don't know if I should buy a remanufactured one, a low mileage one, or maybe the JDM one with the LSD? What experiences have you had with used/rebuilt trannys and where did you buy from? Thanks!!

Cheap stuff and you can most likely find a low mileage one. I got my tranny for my swap from a scrapyard off this database.

Ya, it's looking like I need all the parts for the swap now (all but the ecu). Anyone who's done the swap please chime in with where you found your stuff. Thanks!

I got the shop thats doing the swap to get the parts in for me. They are actually getting them for cheaper then what I could get or find which is amazing. Other then that I would contact autowreckers and just tell them that you are doing a full 5spd swap and they should be able to give you a price for all the parts.
