SERIOUS QUESTION auto to manual swap ecu immobilizer question...

Im going to be doing an auto to manual swap to my car.

pretty much the most difficult part so far is the fact that the new 5speed ecu wont recognize my key when i plug it in. and i already bought the new ecu.

basically what if i use a immobilizer bypass module like from an remote start security system. would that be able to bypass to where i can just use my key? or even the pager?

ive asked honda dealers they dont know

ive asked the shop thats gonna do my swap and they dont know

sooo what do you guys think? or if anyone has done it please confirm that it will work or not work.

thanks

solder your ecu to be a manual ecu and then you don't have to swap it at all.

i don't know about how it works with the ecu's. maybe you can find a place that like mods xbox's etc, they'll be able to solder it. i know when i did my jdm swap the jdm ecu worked fine with my key.
