ATTS tried to kill me...

Ok, so I guess I wasn't in any real danger, but when you make a wide left into traffic at WOT, but all you get is severe stumble/hesitation halfway through the turn, w/ the ATTS light coming on, it freaks you out a bit. Not the first time this has happened to me, just the most recent and I know I'm not alone. ATTS light has been on since I got the car, didn't really care, but this is something it's a bit hard to be apathetic about.

I know, I know, "pull the codes". I did, not long after I got the car, but I can't anymore. Bulb is bad and only works about half the time, making DTC reading impossible. I really need to find the piece of paper I wrote them down on, because I can't remember them to save my life. Looked through all 3 service manuals and the owners manual, no luck. You'd think I'd be smart enough to save something important like that, guess not.

I know I had a code for the "linear solenoid", and I think I had codes for oil pressure sensor, yaw rate sensor, ECM comm. line and lateral g sensor. But part of my brain is telling me there were only 3 total codes...-_-?, so some of those must be wrong.

Not all that helpful I know, but I didn't know if my symptoms would clue anyone in, "oh yeah, it's likely...". But I doubt it.

I know this will sound silly, but have you tried replacing the bulb?

Go to autozone and have them scan the codes for free?

Don't do WOT turns in traffic?

Yeah, thought of that, not really looking forward to pulling the cluster though...

Yeah, any OBD-II scan tool/code reader can pull codes from the PCM, but what about the ATTS module?

More like nailed it half way through the turn, already facing the proper direction. And sometimes WOT is the only way to pull out into traffic around here, it's insane.

Yeah man the cluster is cake..

Your doing what a lot of people do (including me). Its called 'spinning your wheels'.

In times like these you have take a step back and re-focus.
