Apex'i WS or Thermal Classic????

I am debating between buyin either the apex ws or the therma classic for my 5th Generation Lude. I like the tips on the Thermal and I originally wanted that exhaust but I heard it is REALLY loud (which I do not want). I've heard that the Apex WS is really quiet but very effective exhaust and it started to appeal to me because the tip and appearance innot TOO flashy. However I really like te finish of the Thermal. Any of you guys had experience with either of these? re they really loud? Any thoughts or does anyone know where I can get a really good price?

cementups has really good prices on both exhaust .
it is up to you but i think u will have a hard time figuring out about the loudness of the thermal coz it is subjective.
one member b4 sold the thermal for a ws.
others love their thermal .
others dont like the ws coz it is not straight through.
some ppl love the ws coz it is quiet.
ur call really.

i really enjoy the tone of the thermal. but i also like the apexi. i will tell u the best thing to do, and it is not find sound clips of the exhausts, they do exhaust no justice what-so-ever. so go find some people that have the apexi and the thermal in ur area(hopefully u can) and that will be the best way to solve ur decision. It is all on ones own personal preference and it really takes you listening to them both in real life to make a decent decision.

what exactly is the tip size on the WS? 4 inches?? It's not 5 inches is it; I dont like the really huge round tips.

from what i heard, the thermals are very loud, as loud or louder than my old greddy PE which got annoying just driving around the street.....
I'm now on a WS which is perfect IMO.....The increased flow along with a nice sound (nice not relating to loudness) make it perfect for a street car

Thermal is quiet when compared to most aftermarket exhaust out there but if you want a close to stock noise level stay away from the thermal... btw i have the thermal exhaust and love it but i also dont mind the extra noise...

I have the Thermal on my '01. It is a very nice sound outside, gets compliments all the time. But inside the cabin is another story. It drones at about 3000 rpms and unfortunately that means while in 5th gear on the highway usually one is at about 3000. Performance wise i did feel an improvement throughout the band but mostly mid. Basically the Thermal is one of(if not the) nicest sounding exhausts because of its low tone but if you like a quite cabin, dont get it......But then again it also drones out the persistent yapping of the GF

ludecrs01 is right, the Thermal is really drones bad in the cabin
It does sound badass outside though. If you want the best sounding exhaust, get Mugen or Thermal, if you want to preserve your sanity and save cash (Mugen is $$$) then the Apexi is a great choice =]

Disagree w/ u bro about being "very" loud. Personally i think it is the best looking and sounding exhaust for 5th gens. I really don;t think it is loud in the cabin (maybe because i dynomatted the trunk and have a system) but it is tolerable.

Anyways whatever exhaust u decide to go w/ talk to cementups to get a good deal.

as aaron and screwdriver said, I definately have the best prices for the Thermal.

one note is that the thermal is a DEEP sound aand not the piessed off bees in a can sound that you would here from most honda exhaust.

If I didn't have the Thermal on my car, the Apex'i would probably be my second choice. I chose the Thermal over the Apex'i cause of the looks and I liiked the deeper sound.
