1. Will disconnecting the battery or pulling the radio fuse reset the apexi controller?
2. Before dynoing but after the installation and wiring are complete, will my car still run factory settings? If not, is it necessary to set "factory settings" on the apexi controller? If so, does anyone have them?
3. After doing a search, I found where I could get a field wiring harness but I could not find it on the options or jdm sites and the skunk2 site won't load on my computer. If someone could help me find the harness on either of the sites I would really appreciate it.
I hope you guys/girls can help me out.
Thanks in advance

A1. Only if it's pulled for a long time, somewhere around 3-6 months from my findings. The VAFC has what's called a static memory, basically it's a capacitor that slower drains to keep the memory running, once the capacitor is empty, all your settins are gone.

A2. For the most part yes it will run stock settings. You need to make sure to do the initial settings for the VAFC, such as telling it that you have a 4 CYL and to set the throttle response. You may also want to check the setting for the VTEC engagment, I don't remember if it was at a stock setting when I first turned mine on.

A3. Are you looking for the harness for your car I assume? If you are it should be in with your paper work. Let me know if you don't have it, I'll send you a copy of mine. Just email me at mschmit@wi.rr.com
I hope you guys/girls can help me out.
Thanks in advance

if you have the apexi vafc the settings remain if you unplug the radio/battery/ and or the vafc. i have done all three and the settings have stayed the same. thank god because it takes me about 1/2 an hour to set the damn thing again.

H22B is the japan engine that goes into their top end models. they don't sell it in the US becuase i think that it is completly legal. i got it from a friend that was trying to put it into a crx but it wouldn't fit.

all prelude engines that are vtec are h22a, the JDM s spec engines are also h22a and differentiated by only there cam covers...there is no differentiation, even though it gets about 20ps more...
if there is a b16 and a b18 logic says there is a h22b. but if you don't believe me check out vtec.com or vtecengines.com. the h22b just has a bigger head. i will post pics of the numbers when i get them on the net.
next time before you talk smack research it first.

i will have a picture of the h22b on fri me and my friend found the slide of the motor when he tried to fit it into his crx - the only way that it would is to have special motor mounts made. and you can get the motor mounts from www.redshift.ca they are bout $400 us ... and there will be many more pictures to prove our point ........
I mean yes there are b18b's (LS teg motor) and b16b's (CTR motor) but i dont thinkit is a h22b, just look for the engine code on the engine block for us dude. Tell us if you see h22b
