anyway to make a shift boot fit on a SS lude?

I have a 2000 SS lude and changed the shift knob to a razo chrome 8 ball type, i want a silver shift boot to go around it but is there anyway to make it fit on a SS lude without buying the shift boot and the bracket or whatever it holds to from a junkyard??? someone has to have an original idea for it .......

i bought mine from hparts.com, but it was the type SH boot, which isnt the silver your looking for. it looks really clean, but if you want it to be silver, i have heard a couple of suggestions.
1) buy an SH shift boot, buy a silver boot from this one guy on ebay, take off original SH boot and put the new silver boot on the SH base.
2) buy a silver boot from this one guy on ebay (search "prelude shift boot") and staple gun it to the base under the middle section of the lude..under where the "P-R-N-D.." use to be(i dont know the correct term).
3) buy an SH boot, and spray paint it w/ silver vinyl paint
i dont know those are juss ideas

its all good hehe...the guy said he wanted a silver boot, and the stock boots are only black, so thats why he would have to either buy an additional boot w/out the base, or paint the boot w/ base that he buys from such places as hparts.com
