that good? How much modification goes into installing them, or are they also plug-n-play?

My autolamps kit is plug and play...100%. You don't need to mod much. IF anything bend the metal bulb holder JUST a little. But thats it. NO custom BS bulb holders or anything like that.

It's the H1 "kit", the color temp is up to you, i wouldn't go over 6000k...Keep it mind, you will still have glare, so if's and's or butts, but this kit is the best i've seen.

Yep, have installed the 7500k hella Hit kit. What can I say, other than very bright and very glary. I tried aiming the bulb as down as possible to the house fitting but still very glary. What can I do to reduce the glareness? Has anyone tried tinting the headlights?

Another thing...when the headlights are turn on, the light color is bright WHITE after lighting up blue/purple color for the first 10 seconds. Isn't this 7500k kit produces blue/purple white colors and NOT JUST WHITE? Is this normal for this kit? Is it the same for every other kit? Does the kit needs to be burn in?
