Anyone with a green lude painted their calipers green?

I was trying out some of that Armor All wheel cleaner and got some on my calipers. Now some of the coating came off, and I was thinking of painting them. I know red is the "standard" color, but 1) everyone has it, and 2) red + green = Christmas tree. Anyone have some picks of green calipers on a green car (or any color car....)

Actually, I kinda like the brighter look where the coating came off, but I guess there's a reason the coating was there in the first place (corrosion?), so simply removing ALL the coating with wheel cleaner probably wouldn't be a good idea

I have a Eucalyptus green lude also and was thinking of doing the nsx caliper swap and painting them a dark grey. I'm going to see if I can have them powdercoated gunmetal to go with my gt-n's.

i did mine the color of the car and i clear coated it, i donot have a pic thoe, you really need to get a scuff pad and scuff up the surface before applying anything and use a metal surface prep coating and it should stay there. I painted mine a little over a year ageo and ive used alot of chemicals on it including carb cleaner and its held up and looks good. Also if you can do this method at a bodyshop go ahead and do the control arms black with clear coat as i did, it gives it a wet look when you apply the tire shine to the tires.
