...of swapping a new Civic owner seats?

My neighbor across the street just bought a new '05 Civic, and the seats support your upper body so much better than our seats...and I was wondering if some Civic would think this mod is 'cool' and I could trade seats straight across.

Would the mounting be the same?

Maybe. The S2000 seats swap over easily enough. Most Honda seats share the same seat-to-bracket mounting point. Brackets (rails) vary by model (sometimes wildly).

You are not the first person to complain about 5G seats. One ride in yours and the Civic owner will probably think it is not so 'cool.'

Someone on here had it done to their lude already, IIRC he sold them for something else or he got rid of the car etc.... So yes it can be done.
