gotta walk all the way to ur door first... open that, THEN pop it? pssh

just press a button and go straight to the trunk!

i keep that locked anyway.. that way if anyone ever breaks into my car they can't pop the trunk..

meh it was only 30 bucks!

I only did it on my car because I shaved off the keyhole on my trunk.

because when you come out of a store or something and return to your car and have a handful of goods, it's easier to just to push the button on the remote and open the trunk to throw your stuff in.....instead of fumbling around to get inside your car and reach down to pull the lever.

c'mon, why do you think this mod is stupid? It only cost about $30 and took me an hour to install it myself...

I have this feature with my Viper alarm. I physically disconnected the manual trunk pop cable. My guess is that even when the lever is locked the trunk can be popped if you yank hard enough. My way the trunk can only be pried open (doh, lets hope that doesn't happen.) I've got like $700 worth of audio gear in my trunk.
