We offer a total of 6 different warranties on our automatics. To give you a better understanding of how it works...
First, we follow all of the same steps and procedures to rebuild all of our transmissions, from the 30 day warranty units to the 50 month / 50,000 mile warranty units.
On our 30 day and 6 month units we use a lot of after market parts, including a remanufactured 2-4 drum on the applicable units. On the units with electrical components, we use good, used and tested solenoids. Warranty is parts only. Should there be a problem with the transmission, we will supply another unit.
On our 1 year unlimited mileage units we use OEM parts (except gaskets) and a late style, thick neck 2-4 drum. Electrical components are good, used and tested parts. Warranty is parts only. Should there be a problem with the transmission, we will supply another unit.
On our 2 year unlimited mileage units, our 3 year / 36,000 mile units and our 50 month / 50,000 mile units we use all new, genuine OEM parts, including new shift and lock up solenoids. Warranty on these units covers parts, a pre determined amount of labor, shipping costs and a car rental to the customer for up to 3 days at $30.00 a day maximum.
All of our 4 speed and 5 speed manual transmissions are covered by a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty. However, a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty and a 50 month / 50,000 mile warranty will soon be available. At this time, there are no after market parts in existence to our knowledge, so all parts going in to these units are genuine OEM and we are unable to offer a lesser priced unit or warranty at this time.

Like the factory remanufacturing program, all our transmissions are built using factory O.E.M. parts with the exception of gaskets on occasion.
Unlike the factory program, we do not demand a troublesome core charge up front unless the cases are broken. We trust you to provide us with the proper core trade-in whole and assembled.
All of our transmissions are shipped in solid, hard plastic boxes to eliminate damage to cases or electrical compontents in the process of shipping the transmissions to and from your location.
We offer free delivery of our transmissions and pick up of cores within our delivery zone, which runs from the Mexico border here in Californina to Lompoc in the north. All sales outside of that zone will be delivered by way of ground service unless otherwise requested.
All prices shown in our price list include the following:
a) remanufactured torque converter
b) one premium in-line filter
c) one can of transmission cooler line flush
How The Warranty Works...
Shipping is included in our prices listed for all transmissions covered under the three year and up warranties. Shipping is not included for the two year and down warranties. Cost of shipping may vary depending upon your location.
Our one year unlimited mileage warranty is designed to eliminate mileage concerns. This warranty option is a parts only warranty with exception to the initial installation. If the transmission fails to operate upon initial installation we will cover the labor. We look at it like this; if our transmission fails to operate properly why should the customer pay the labor? Or, why should we expect you the dealer to pay the labor? We feel that this warranty is superior to those that are standard in the transmission industry that are commonly found to be 1 yr./12,000 miles parts only. Our warranty becomes a parts only warranty after the customer has taken receipt of the car. Labor rates are preset by H & A Transmissions, Inc. and are found in our warranty section of our price sheet.
Our Two year unlimited mileage warranty is a parts and labor warranty for the entire two years. It also provides for rental car coverage for up to three days at up to $ 30.00 per day. Our warranties under the unlimited mileage section, both one and two years, are designed for those customers that are likely to commute long distances. This way, mileage is no longer a concern. If the unit fails before the two years are up, we replace the transmission regardless of how many miles are on it, and labor is covered!
We also offer a 3 year 36,000 mile and a 50 month 50,000 mile warranty that are premium warranties designed for the customer that may not commute as much, but fully intends to keep their vehicle for a few more years and wants a complete warranty package. This warranty also includes the rental car provision as in the two year unlimited mileage warranty.
With these options at your disposal, you the dealer should be able to increase your department's profits while not sacrificing the quality that the customer has come to expect from you, "The Dealer".
