Better find out from them what year the engine is... Cause is says H22A4 ...which should mean the engine is from a 2000 car. i think the A4 means what year of the car cause mine says H22A5 and its a 2001 and my boys engine from his 2000 SH is H22A4

May be i'm wrong but check.

92-96 had the H22A1 (closed deck)

97-01 had the H22A4 (open deck)

I THINK this is correct but I'm no expert-oh yeah that is just for USDM- JDM might be diffrent on the years the A1 and A4 was used.

But I'm pretty sure all A1's are closed deck and all A4's are open deck.

Now on the original question-"Is this all I need?" assuming you want to change your SS over to manual-yeah that AND this:

5 spd ECU
Cash to pay for the swap
2nd car to drive while waiting on SLOW mechanics

Two good points is that since your car is a 97 that engine probably has less miles than yours. And you can sell your old engine to some guy with a Civic Hatch for 2g's

Or this is what I'd do - buy that set-up and while it's still out tear it down and build it up in the bottom (polish the crank, replace the Rods-Crower , better pistons- Arias) for either Turbo, NOS, or High Compression N/A. Build the head ( Port/Polish , Springs Retainers, Cams-Crower) Then while the tranny is out put in a Quaife LSD, JUN Flywheel,ACT Clutch. Add Greddy turbo kit or 100 shot NOS.

Not a bad way to spend 10 g's huh?

Does it ever END?
