Aftermarket header+OEM gasket=blehh

How the hell am I supposed to align the collector to cat OEM O ring gasket? I installed my header this weekend and have since taken the downpipe off 3 times in an effort to fix what sounds like an exhaust leak (a sucking noise after 4.5k) Today I used tape to try to hold the gasket in place as I installed the downpipe but the sound persisits. I re-used the OEM metal gasket, there is no soot around it, also, the 4-2 gasket was not leaking and was replaced today. Is there some trick to getting the gasket aligned? Are you guys using a different gasket? Or, am I just a dumbass and missing something?

I have a very similar problem with my set up. I am running a high flow cat to an apexi ws2 catback. However I don't have the funds yet to upgrade from my stock header so in my case wear the header meets the cat I was using that stupid o ring gasket and I have a very noticable exhaust leak right there in that spot. I have no idea about what gasket can be used and for some reason I was under the impression that they sold aftermarket gaskets but i don't know where to buy them from.

When I installed my catback I got some gaskets from AutoZone. Well only the one that goes between the cat and the pipe.

^ That is what I got from AutoZone. It was like a paper one so I don't know if it is supposed to last long, but then again not much pressure is on it.

Anyone know a supplier of AFTERMARKET gaskets?

I know OEM uses a lot of O-rings... but I just want to find the actual pre-cut steel lined gaskets that go:

header/downpipe (2 holes, 3 bolts, symmetrical)
downpipe/cat (1 hole, 3 bolts, triangular, but not equilateral)
pipe gaskets (1 hole, 2 bolts, symmetrical)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
