After EGR Port and Valve Cleaning Should the ECU Be Reset

I cleaned my EGR valve and EGR ports the other day, also changed the spark plugs, do I have to reset my ECU. My car never had a CEL before and after the cleaning was done. I've been reading mixed reviews, some people say to reset it, others say, you don't need to.

I don't see any harm in doing it so I might as well reset it.

You will force the car to rebuild the trim settings, but if the cleaning has had real impact to the engine it will speed up the "learning".
