aem vs injen cai

i have an injen cai and i don't know if it sounds rite...everyone that gets aem says it gets really loud in vtec, mine gets loud from 3500 to about 4500 then quiets to like stock sound all through vtec...is the injen a bad cai or wut?

My AEM got louder and bassier from around 4000-4800, then went quieter, but it definitely was not as quiet as stock. I doubt the Injen is as quiet as stock either.

Don't worry about it - the designs are so similar, any difference in power and sound will be minimal.

I've had the injen on the car for like 3 months now. Ever since i've had the car. I love it. It is basically the same thing as the AEM... mine really gets loud in VTEC. It is the single piece intake. I think it is 2.5" in diameter.

yea its 2 piece, the short ram and the cai extention...i got everything for 210...

the short ram is loud through all range, the cai is diff, its not loud through all of the rpm range only from about 3500 to like 4800 or something...
