its ok, i would save up if i was you and get your head ported and polished and shaved, with bigger valves, its cost like $500 but it makes the world of difference i just got mine done and i need to tune my apexi controller to it for a even more power

Where did you get your P&P?

I've been thinking about doing this, but I think you have to remove your throttle body and send it in somewhere...

How long was the turnaround time?

Hey man where's the hook up? $500 for pnp and bigger valves and such.

man I just spent over $500 on just parts for my head work bigger valves, springs and retainers.

Then you still have the pnp if you go local you may get it all the machine work and install done for $500 but dont even think about sending the head off to say portflow there goes another $900 not including shipping.

or you could spend $140 to get some AEM pullies.

Yes you will see more gains from some head work but it cost more money. Its best to just save up and do it all at once like with new camshafts and all not just pnp with bigger valves IMO, but Hey what ever floats you boat. I wouldnt do it unless you got a little $$ laying around.

Not that you didnt get the work done for $500 WDW I just wish I had a hook up like that....

ya i had it done at a local shop in orlando, they had it for three days, the parts come out to be about $300, i got the skunk2 products. I do need cams now and that will cost some money. I think the shops listed in the magizines will cost alot more, but if you look around you can find other places. the only reasion im not temped to get the pulleys are due to the fact i would not want to worry about the alternator dieing on me. That cost alot to get that replaced. the pullys are good for the average person, but for someone that wants 100% safe HP with no side effects id go with the head work.
