AEM pulleys installed - Question about slight noise

I installed the AEM pulleys earlier this week, but I have a question about a sound change Ive noticed. There is a slight noise at 1500 and 2300 RPM. Its like a whir, or a slight resonance from the P/S pump. Anyone else notice this? Ive checked the belt tension (by hand per the Service Manual) after the install, after running the car for 5 minutes, the morning after the install, and again yesterday, and its still within specs. Anyone?

that noise is probably your air filter. my engine whines at low rpm too. and yes, i do have pullies. but the noise is kinda hard to hear over my exhaust. if the noise is annoying, take them out. otherwise you'll have to live with it.

Im pretty sure it isnt the air filter. I still have the stock air box (sans resonator), and while you can hear it sucking in air, you have to be on the ground next to the bumper to hear it. Its not the same sound. I just wanted to know if it was a "normal" occurance with the pulleys. If it is, fine, I can live with it. If it isnt, Id like to know so I can fix it.

I just got my pullies installed and I've noticed the same noise.
It's fine.

i've got the same thing: stock airbox with removed resonator, and I just installed by pullies a week or two ago. And like you, I was kinda perplexed when I also heard this sort of whining/humming sound. I think it is the airbox.
