the reason why it's hard is cause you need to hold the pulley in place on the alternator while you loosen the bolt. There is no doubt that you wilil most likely need two people just cause it's a really awkward thing to do.
I drove my alternator to honda and had them take it off for me. The mech. was wearing plastic gloves and that seemed to be able to grip it good with his power tools.
oh and installing the above mentioned parts without air tools isn't hard to do. In fact, it's pretty much what everyone does.
the header bolts are harder than you think the three connecting the down pipe and manifold
I had to cancel my AEM Tru power pullies. I ordered them through the honda dealership but my local performance shop told me that the power pullies wear out the alternator or something. they had to quit selling them at the store because in the long run they'd just mess up your car.
If anything it should put less strain on the alternator because it underdrives it. Alot of people seem to have them without any horror stories, kinda weird

I think they're getting confused with the crank pullies...like by unorthodox racing (i think that's the name of the company) and stuff
If you want quicker responce, little bit more torque, and a nice colorful SAFE addition to the Engine Bay that won't void a warentee BOTTOM LINE = GET THE PULLIES

There we go again with the low end torque myth...

I think that is concerning the crank shaft pulley. And that sucks too, because that's where you get most of your gains from pulleys is at the crank. But the AEM ones are good, I have never heard anyone complain, only people who don't have them : )
