BS your dad

ok if you really want to run this stuff by your dad--start quoting the 2nd law of thermodynamics: the greater the difference between intake and exhaust temperatures, the greater the efficiency--therefore with a cold air intake you are lowering the intake temperature which will improve efficiency (and IN THEORY gas mileage--you can tell him that it does improve mileage)-- if you want some equations and stuff just email me and I'll give you some fancy numbers to throw his way--I think he'd be impressed that you started quoting thermodynamics. Hope this helps

DK, yeah, you're probably right. I guess i'll have to stay away from most of the mods cause they aren't worth me paying my dad $7000 to be able to start modding it

WDW, my friend who is taking a job as an instructor at Panoz Racing School is gonna teach me how to drive for free

FF, but cold air also has a higher saturation level and can hold more gas, meaning it'll use more too

redrum, you lucky bastard!

ya dude youll be suprised how your car will compete stock with other cars once youve learned how to drive the hell out of it. I drag raced mine a few times i use to drag race the sentra se-r alot so i was use to auto crossing and drag racing so when i did my fourth pass at the strip stock i ran a 15.2 which is better than alot of people with the same car with alot of mods. Now with intake AEM and header i ran on a cold night 14.8. when you race youll learn that spinning your tires will make you loose time and most people donot know that. Also drag racing a VTEC is a talent but on a road course youll be the king and thats what our cars are best at. Goodluck and have fun at the school. later
