AEM better then type s
INJEN same thing.. more expensive
Type-s, safe and 1 whp

thats my thoughts.. you should get the AEM v2 I got a RS*R ex mag cat back exhaust (put a big dent in mod spending) instead but i want to get a v2 pretty soon

AEM and Injen are really the same like he said. Only difference is looks; all Injen intakes (SRI or CAI) come polished (Polished silver, red, or blue). AEM you have to pay an extra $20 for the polished version (Only silver). As far as gains are concerned, I'm sure they're pretty much the same.

I'm quite happy with my polished AEM I got for $155 shipped.

How much better is the V2 compared to the standard AEM CAI? Its probably a situation where its better if your upgrading from stock airbox rather than aftermarket CAI.

Hmmm strange that AEM is ahead in this poll, when I was searching for an intake everyone ranted and raved out the Type-S intake.

I'm very happy with my AEM CAI. I just wish it was easier to get to the filter to clean it. I heard the type-s was better for lowend but I would like to see a dyno comparing the two.

I was going to be a guinea pig on the v2 until i saw RS*R group buys. the AEM v2 supposedly came out on 9/25/03 so check into that.

I don't want aem or injen. I'll get a v2.. thats about it. was going to dyno after the v2.. then people in my area were hooking me up with dyno money to dyno the UR pulleys alone on my stock and v2 on stock alone.

EH.. i'll have video of the RS*R and dyno of it if I get to it. Shouldn't be much, but should clear up some questions about it's sound.

Get a AEM if you don't want to be adventurous. the v2 is pretty damn expensive.. group buys are the way to go on everything.

go po.com sponsors.
