From what I've heard cutting the AEM or having a two piece CAI is always going to be less performance than a one piece uncut CAI. As far as being able to tell it by an @$$ dyno, I'd be suprised. The difference is usually only 1 to 3 HP.

Did you reset the ecu? This could have an effect, also, maybe its all mental as you are just expecting things...

Pull the 7.5A radio fuse under the hood for a few seconds. Now it won't mess anything up other than lock your factory radio. Make sure you have the security code to unlock before you pull the fuse.

when you pull that plug it kills the radio. when you put the fuse back in, the radio will not work and you have to have a code to turn the radio back on. you should be able to get it from your honda dealer. no code....no radio

I think he meant the benefits.. It resets the ecu settings that have been learned by the ecu over the course of driving and takes the correction settings that it makes like timing, fuel delivery and so forth and resets them to stock setings, which means the mods will do what they are supposed to do.

under hood, passenger side, back corner by windshield is the fusebox. remove lid and find fuse marked radio- pull it out and leave it out for a few minutes, 5 would do. Reinstall, put code in radio to make it work. EASY!!!!!

if your car is off anyways why does the time (5 seconds?) you leave the fuse out matter???

it matters because even if your car is off, there is still a current going through the electronics. Unless you either:

a.) pull the fuse (as mentioned above)
b.) disconnect the battery

the majority of circuits in your car are still "on". Most of these require minimal current and don't really drain your battery enough to matter much. Take your clock for example, did you think it just "remembered" what time it was with no current?

I don't get it... how does pulling the RADIO fuse reset the ECU on the car? Doesn't that just kill the radio...not the ECU?

Trust them. That's what the factory manual says.

Probably because they both need power for memory items even when everything else is turned off
