AEM Air Bypass Valve

Over at Superhondaonline.org in the Integera Type R posts people have complained about the Air Bypass Valve getting sucked into the throttle body. Anyone else have this problem? I want to get a AEM Cold Air Intake and right now I am debating over whether to get a Bypass Valve as a caution to the water, or not get one at all. Let me know what you think.

Thanks

The older bypass valves did have that problem, but AEM had a recall on those. The newer ones are just fine and won't have that problem. Although, I wouldn't suggest buying it. It's something you don't need and you will lose horsepower. From what I understand, the bypass valve will only come in handy when the filter is totally submerged in water. And your car, stock, can drive through a puddle that is around 13" deep. But it is a peace of mind, so it's your call. I personally wouldn't do it, however...
