Advice for this Prelude - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey, so I'm selling my 98 Prelude (auto trans) and I'm tryna get this 01 Prelude 5 speed. I don't know if the price is worth it. Let me know guys. I would highly appreciate it.

Did you want to start with a blank canvas or dont mind the mods it already has? missing the intake for some reason too... depending on how long it was run without that filter could mean some internal damage from debris which would suck. definitely drive it first. The interior looks nice and the engine bay just needs some elbow grease. I can see that there are not a lot of preludes in your area so maybe that is why the price is somewhat high. I would not pay more than 5k for it IMO.

Dude if you have $5000 to spend, you can totally do the 5 speed swap for less. Take the extra money you saved NOT buying that NJ no air filter prelude, and slap it back in the bank.

No the thing is I bought my first prelude with body kits which then I later realized it doesn't look good for a prelude. Because the previous owner did a lot of wiring mods and other stuffs to my current Prelude and now I'm having problem with wiring stuff and It is just givin me too much headache. So I'd rather sell it and then get this all stock lude. U know what I mean?

And the intake is only like 40 bucks on eBay. So, I think it's Not that big deal.

I'd buy it to. 114k is pretty low and the body and interior look to be in decent shape. Still try to talk him down a little. Get you tags and title nocked off the price and look for anything he took off that cost money to put back on and factor that in as well. Every penny counts.
