adjustment for rear brake calipers for a 1998 prelude

is there an adjustment for rear brake calipers for a 1998 prelude my mechanic says there isnt any but dmv says there is thanks in advance..

I think he means adjusting the tension on the ebrake cable.

yes take off the center console, the ebrake handle is connected to a cable, that cable meets a bracket that hold 2 cables, one for each side, tighten or loosen the nuts on the end to adjust, the calipers themselves are hydraulic which means they self adjust to compensate for pad wear.
