ACT 6 puck?

I installed my six puck clutch the other night, and went to the strip. I couldn't launch for anything. All I got the whole night was either wheel hop or tire spin. Anyone else had this problem with a six puck? My 6ft times went from 2.3's to 2.7's... aack!

Did you get clutch and flywheel?...Also, you have to let your clutch break in first. You should wait around 500 miles or so. Thats what I was always told.

Yes, I did get the clutch and flywheel, but according to ACT, there is no need for breakin on a 6-puck, only a few good slips of the clutch

I have an ACT clutch also, and I get wheel hop only at the track. I rarely have it on the streets. Its weird. I may just need to get a set of slicks next time I go...

Have you considered a suspension upgrade? I think we're gonna have to in order to get the power to the ground. Do you catch third every time you shift also?

It seems as though our 5th gen Ludes have a wheel hop problem. I dont have an aftermarket clutch but it still hops like mad. I hate it.

With a stock 5th Gen, trim control might be the best way to illiminate wheel hop You know it's bad when you are behind a car at night with your lights on their liscense plate, and when you accelarate, your lights go over the top of their car
