Just joined!

I have had an intermittent ABS light issue. The light would stay on most of the time but occasionally go off. Randomly, it will turn off sometimes and stay off but the majority of the time it will be on. This morning I turn it on and the ABS light was on, drove down the street and took a right turn pretty fast and the light went out and stayed off! It's weird.


I have pulled the code, using the paperclip trick.. got code 51, motor lock on. I have a PDF service manual which says reset the light and drive the car, if the light comes back over 10 km/h, replace the ABS modulator?

Any advice? The car is lowered (4-5 inches of ground clearance) with 17 inch rims and low pro tires if that matters?
