out of curiosity, what is the purpose of the aftermarket lower control arm? btw it appears you are refering to "lower arm a" according to my helms. there is a lower arm a and a "lower arm b" of course, this is what im guessing you need. i could be wrong. I hope this pic helps someone. [IMG][/IMG]

You obviously don't know the use. You see them offered for civics so you want some for yourself huh? Because you think it's cool but you have no earthly clue on why they are there.

Well here to educate you. The reason you see them for civics is because some didn't have an attachment for endlinks. You prelude does, therefore negating the need for aftermarket lower control arms.

You want to build your suspension? Save money and do it right.

Dumb questions get smart remarks btw.

Yes, it's for the sway bar.

There are plenty of good suspension setups, it's just how much you want to spend and what you plan to do with it.

just want a drop? Buy some decent brand name springs and maybe some decent shocks, agx, etc.

want performance? Buy some koni yellows and ground control coilovers and get them revalved (the shocks)

want jdm bling? Buy whatever tein, d2, ksport etc monotube coilover kit. Just don't think it's better than the above koni + gc coilover done right.

Petern. Is it easy to install a sway bar? Like a tanabe one from ebay? Here is the link

TANABE REAR SWAY BAR 97-02 HONDA PRELUDE SH H22 NEW JDM : eBay Motors (item 120516543118 end time Feb-10-10 00:37:52 PST)

Would it just fit right on? is it hard? It says it's for an SH can it work for a base? It's only the front suspension that was diffrent with the SH right lol . Any help would be awesome. I am new to ebay and I might be buying it from the states and getting it here to new zealand

Any remove and replace is easy.

But most likely your endlinks are shot or rusted and in the process of removing them there is a good chance they will break. So if i were you, I would get upgraded endlinks or have some spares waiting.

It's just a sway bar, only mounted on endlinks and two brackets that connect to the bottom of the car.
