Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
For 17" rims I would get at least +45 but I dunno thats just me, I would not want to rub at all..........

You don't want to increase your offset anymore than you have to. Doing this not only could cause rubbing, but throws off your suspension geometry, particularly Steering Axis Inclination (SAI), which automotive engineers spents countless hours designing for best performance and handling. If SAI is moved from spec, your steering stability suffers eg. wandering.

Once again, 205/40/17's are not the best size. But since they are the stock width you shouldn't have any problems.

If you are going with 17's then you might as well bump up your tire width to 215. If you do decide to go with the 43mm offset I wouldn't go 215 only 205 that way you marginalize your chances for any rubbing. There are guys here who have run with 42mm and said they haven't had any problems with a 17X7. It will also depend on exactly how much you lower your car. Going with a higher offset can do nothing but help you in all areas. I too would not want to go below 45mm.

IMHO 43mm offset is good enough, although 45+ is obviously is more preferable!

However, ur tire size is OFF bigtime!!!

U should look into wider tires like 215/40/17 or 215/45/17

If u want to stick to 205 get 205/45/17

43+ offset should be okay. My rims are 42 offset. There is no rubbing. Works fine.

One more thing..I have 205/40 tires. Alot of people think this is too thin but it works fine for me.
