97 with 113k miles...???

hello every one, i am brand new to the board... i am in the process of buying a 97 prelude... i have found one, but i am a little scared off by the high miles... it has 113k on it. he says the interior is in good condition. i offered him 10k plus shipping from CA(i think). he accepted and is ready to make the deal, but i dont really know about the miles. i was really hoping to find something with about 40-50k miles on it, but i cant spend over 12.5k... and i am not having a lot of luck. should i hold out for another one to come along? or should i offer him less? or am i getting a good deal... some input would be greatly appreciated...
thanks everyone...!!!!

and oh, if anyone knows of someone selling a prelude(5spd only) for around that price... i would love to hear about it, email me @

113K? Yikes! I'd look around for a bit. I got my 98 last year for $12500 with 32k miles. I think you can pick one up even cheaper now.

I agree... sounds low - but you never know. sometimes you just find someone who doesn't care or know what they have so their willing to bail cheap. On the other hand - you often get what you pay for.
