I will be having an 8lb fidanza flywheel installed, would like to know, from people who have installed them before on this site, if there were any difficulties that you ran into or any tips on the install. Thank you

There shouldn't be a difference between installing it and reinstalling an OEM. Enjoy the faster acceleration.

Haha If gas milage is all I have to worry about then thats ok with me. No issues at all when installing? Or anything is should do when installing? I read to make sure and use loctite.

Haha how funny I ordered mine about a month ago and received about 2 weeks ago. It reads on the paper to use loctite. Ive heard many bad things about not using the damn loctite. Just wondering what the hell is loctite? can you help me out here tope or anyone else. Noob here. Im afraid to let my mechanic do it as he might F@#$ IT UP. I don't want that happening it cost me 600+ Nz dollars. Wondering as well how does it affect gas millage? in a good way or bad?

locktite is a liquid you put on the threads of the bolts, which holds it in place "permanently". It's insurance that keeps the bolts from backing out. Its only a few bucks and comes in red and blue flavors

Only use blue locktite. The red will most likely take the threads along with the flywheel bolts, just based off of my experiences at work none flywheel related. Heres a link you can compare for yourself.

Actually. I have just emailed FIDANZA. And they have said to NOT use the BLUE LOCTITE. They have told me to use either green or red.

This is what he said in his email

Hey Bowan,

Thanks for contacting Fidanza. We use green loctite on the bolts that hold down the ring gears and on the dowels if it is needed. I checked with our tech and he said you can use green or red, but not blue.

Thank You,

Brad Bojc
