6th Gen Accord Tail on a 5th Gen Lude??

Has anyone seen this? Ive only seen one pic online but the guy had also swapped the Lude headlights for Celica headlights for some reason. I like the 6th gen accord coupe taillights but not really the front end, using a 5th gen Lude front end with the 6th gen Accord coupe tail would look pretty cool I think.. any pics or write-ups on this anyone has seen????

Dude, there are never any writeups on this stuff.

You just have to go to a body shop and get it custom installed. It's never just that easy.

I can't believe you asked for a write up how to do a custom conversion.

I agree that it looks terrible, it was the only pic I could find that kind of showed what I meant.. Minus the rice. Not even something I'm planning on doing as I own a 4th gen not a 5th. Simple question.. If you can't ask these questions here, then where??

problem is that its not a simple question, such things dont exist and cannot be done with a simple swap, youll need custom work by a very good shop.

Here's a simple answer then:

1. Buy Accord tailights
2. Remove prelude tailights
3. Cut hole to fit accord taillights
4. Patch everything up to fit to taillights
5. Paint

There you go.

i really am starting to loose faith in this forum... everyone is really being an asshole now. yea sure it looks all riced out and all but when people are criticized for simply asking a question, even a stupid question there is no reason to be such an asshole. give the OP some credit, all he wanted to know is how it was done.... people on this forum really need to stop being so immature.

That thing is beyond hideous

It so sad watching more and more Preludes fall into ricer's hands.

/\Thanks, Bro. I totally agree...I'll admit it might have been a stupid question but it didnt deserve all the flak I got for it.. Just brainstorming, and what good is a dedicated Prelude forum if you cant ask a stupid Prelude question every now and then. FYI guys, not all of us can spend ALL of our time working on or researching our cars, but that doesnt mean that I love my Lude any less and wanna know more about it. Quit with the "clubhouse" bull****, it gets old.
