6-speed tranny in a lude?

Wondering if it is possible to mate an RSX type S tranny to Prelude? If not, why? Any other 6-speed that would work with the Prelude? I'm asking because I was checking out some dyno sheets, and the H22A seems it would work well with a 6-speed due to all the power being top-end mostly. Thanks in advance.

It would depend on how similar the blocks are on the new RSX-S Engine. I'm not sure what series the RSXS is but I'm pretty sure its not an H series.

Let me the first to answer that question.
No the RSX-S tranny will not work in the lude. The RSX's motor spins clockwise, and our mills rotate counter clockwise. I believe that the gearing and mounting to the block would make us have one gear forward and six in reverse. Any other ideas. Didn't mean to shoot you down, but I do believe that's how it will end up.

Turn the axle upside down, and now you have 6 front, and one rear!

I know, I know, it's not that easy, one too many episodes of junkyard wars for me, but it will work

As soon as you find a way to actually match up the transmission with the engine =]

I'm willing to be the test mule for this project! You can send money and/or help and participate in this swap in the Northern California area. This could end the question of a "6-speed Prelude"
