5th Gen Rear View Mirror

First off I dont have my 5th gen anymore, sold it for a 94 Dodge Stealth TT

Anyways, Im back here cause Im going to replace the rear view mirror on my car and I want to mount a 5th gen one to the roof. Cause mines messed up, plus it looks ugly anyway, so Im going to do a little custom work. I honestly forget how it was set up on the 5g. Theres the mirror, the part it mounts too, and the cover I think. But I was wanting to know what that whole cluster of things is called. And if you guys know where I could get those, ebay failed me, and I cant seem to find any in classifieds. Id rather buy them new, if possible.

Thanks.

a near by honda dealership should be able to help you out with all that. you'll most likely not find any of those items NEW here or on any forum. either go to a dealership or go to a car junk yard.

look into aftermarket rear view mirrors, you may like them more? has temperature on it and digital compass and what nots. should be easier to mount too compared to making the 5th gen mirror work along with the cover that is also the dome light.

I thought about the aftermarket thing, but I honestly dont need to know the temp or the direction Im going in the rear view mirror. I was just wanting a basic one and I like the one in 5 gens. And yeah I thought that was the dome light area, just couldnt remember. So I deff wont be using that part but may still use the mirror. Thanks Storm.

Im trying to do a little research before I go to the dealer, if I even decide to. lol. You know what the plastic piece the mirror screws into is called? Im talking about after you take off the dome light assembly, the mirror is screwed to a plastic piece, which is attached to the roof.

alright well i looked it up for you, something you should have done, and it's only 3 parts and some screws/washers.

product# illustration# required qty# NAME

33549 011 001 BASE, STAY
33550 012 001 HOLDER, REARVIEW MIRROR
33551 013 001 MIRROR, REARVIEW *NH167L*
22295 014 001 WASHER, TOOTHED (MATSUYAMA)
22293 015 001 BOLT, LOCK (6X7) (MATSUYAMA)
33552 016 003 SCREW, ET (5X25)

so there you have it. the Stay Base, the lil rubber holder (optional..) and the rear view mirror itself.

if you buy everything needed it's like $80 + tax or so.. the rear view is 71 dollars...... aftermarket with temp and compass for same price anyone?
