It'll work fine for now, and get you get some great gas mileage but you the power output is going to suck due to the longer gearing of F22 trannys. I don't know much about doing the actual swap but I'm sure if you google "prelude 5 speed swap" you'll get some info. Hope that helped a little.

Try to get one built with the Prelude's final drive of 4.266. The 4th and 5th are tall in the F22 trannys especialy the accord ones. The best one for shorter gears of the F22 family is the 4th gen Prelude F22. It had a shorter 4th and 5th gear then the accords. If you use the preludes final drive the long gears won't be as noticable in 1st-3rd; 4th and 5th will get you good mileage poor accel.

If your going to have a beast of an engine then having longer gears will benefit you

Yes, do the swap. It will be so much better than the auto box.

Idk what performance work you have done but the accord 5 speed will control some wheel spin.
