not exactly sure, but from what I'm reading it tricks the ecu in thinking there more air coming in, which there isn't and adds more fuel, wouldn't that make a super rich condition which only lowers performance?
Jet Performance can reprogram your OBD II prelude ECU. at $270 or so, it's better to save your money and go programmable.
they dont advertise it since it's illegal, but i have dealt with them many times and they have the ability to adjust your timing curve and injector load.
I can see the advance timing helping, but enrichening the system? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the chip, since we are already rich? And for that matter, why does he call it a chip when it is probably a resistor in a plastic box.
