Go with TEIN coilovers. They run about $900-$1000 but they are the best.

There is a lot involved in making your brakes better. Different rototrs won't really help that much from what I"ve read on just about every car forum.

Changing only the fronts or rears will actually **** up the balance of the brakes(bias), so that's no good.

Apparently the best and easiest upgrade for stock brakes is simply better pads. Hawks are really the only ones I've heard much about when it comes to feeling a massive improvement. They are about $60+ for fronts, and $50+ for rears though.

For brakes, do your research. There is a thread that I started about upgrading your brakes and every body told me to just new OEM rotors and good ceramic pads.

i kind of agree and dis-agree with the brake upgrade.

yes i have read many post on diff fourms, and just like a great girl they go both ways.

1 street driving say under 45 stock brakes seam to shine a softer pad and smaller rotor get the brakes to there op temp in mil-seconds.

on the other hand, say over 80 the stock like pads and rotors will still perform but not as good as upgraded ones. how much is the diff?
well form 80 maybe 2 feet maybe as much as 10.
I look at it like this- my car looks beter with the 2 extra feet add to the front..

I agree, better pads make a HUGE difference.
I went from stock pads to Bendix Ultimate and it was SO much better.
Much better stopping power and no more brake fade!
It felt like a completely different brake system!
The Hawk pads are also good.
If you're not going to take it to the track, get their high performance road pads, since track specific pads need to get quite warm before they perform optimally.
And remember to break them in as recommended by the manufacturer.

As far as power is concerned…
Why not get a set of cams and the appropriate valvetrain for them.

idk but u alls but when i got my slotted and drilled rotors put it and ceramic brakes. Big difference and much less pad dust on rims. When your slamming on brakes regular rotors aloud build up of dust which makes the brake pad slide easier Less Grip! when there drilled and slotted the dust has a place to go. I don't feel a diff but i see it after brake testing. Also when it comes to braking tires play a big roll to. U might have sweet brakes and crappy tires so theres no point. The wider the tire the better the lower the profile the better! Also suspension makes a big difference when slamming on brakes. Bmw M3 have a super brake sysem and everything is tied in with suspension tires (size width) and then brake pads and rotors.
