^you guys didnt really specify if you wanted blacked out lights or blacked light housings.

so i just did what will create a bit of contrast on the black car. also, these are stock headlights. (and i havent set up proper reflections for the lights etc.)

not sure what you mean about lude "data". i modeled it from scratch myself, with blueprints as reference for proportions etc.

are you complimenting my work, or criticizing?

the software, if you wanted to buy it... is atleast 3000$... i think its 6000$ even.... cant remember. all these programs cost a arm and leg. most people torrent it ;s

when you ask "where did you get the software", it makes it sound like you arent really sure what it is. to make it simple, its a program just like photoshop. except it does things in 3D... there are hundreds of other programs out there, like Autodesk 3DS Max, or the most common: Autodesk MAYA.

as for sharing the model... id have to think about it. i spent quite some time working on it, and its still not really finished. (the model itself is finished, but the textures/lighting arent completed, so the render does not look realistic yet). been too busy with my jobs, havent had time to continue.

finding other car models online is easy though, you can easily find some free models, and some for a small price.

yeah, softimage XSI isnt as well known as Maya etc, but... its used enough to be in the big league ;p

recently, autodesk (owner of maya and 3ds max) purchased XSI, so now autodesk owns the 3 big 3d programs ;]

anyway... to stay on topic, if GTF comes back and views this thread, maybe you can let me know if you wanted something more specific. (darkened headlights? etc)

Ahhh yes, the Honda equivelant to a VW Boser hood. It looks good imo, maybe a tad too aggressive IMO. Kinda strays away from the 5th gen's natural beauty.
