I love the look of this prelude. Does anyone know anything about doing a mod like this? Ive found a few other pics online like this but no info about how to actually do it. Is it just a special hood that fits over part of the headlights or do you think it is completely custom? Thanks.
Go to preludepower.com and you'll find a thread about it.

anyway, i am also very curious about the thread on preludepower, if someone else has found it, please share it! I dont really want to register there, and then, assuming i know how to search for it xD thanks!

Yes, that makes sense. Due to the fact that I rarely participate in this online community and choose to lurk, I am automatically a noob.
Your post count is part of it, but your join date is also part.

Haha, I have a low post count, am I a noob? I also said something completely irrelevant to the original purpose of the thread, so there's that...
Anyway, have any pictures of that car with the hood up? I'm curious as to whether they just molded some eyelids over their headlights very well and then attached them to the hood before painting, or whether they actually cut and reshaped the headlights and just added new material to the cutouts in the hood. Anyway, its one of the more radical visual modifications I've seen that I think actually looks really good.

if you click that link provided by thesasquatch (thanks!), and then follow a link from within that thread, there are some progress photos from the original car's owner. he also changed his gauges, which looks really awesome ;D that thread isnt in english though.
I've looked into this particular mod a LOT, but here's the catch, it requires you to take your stock hood and weld custom metal pieces on there, then sand it all down and paint it. In my opinion, it's a MUCH cheaper alternative to just get eyelids and color match them. The blacked out headlights are also a MUST for this look :P But for it to look as smooth and seamless as this you defiantly need some custom metalworking.
ya baroc is right, i just got a 2000 prelude, and shaved the door handles and the trunk lid and welded a few pieces i made up for the hood and bought the after market headlights, ill post a few pics on how i did it, its a awesome look, it took me about a hour to weld it, skim of bondo and putty, and then primed it, just got to prime the rest of the parts and block it, let me know if anyone wants me to do it for them as well, i got a shop in st albert, so anyone in the area needs a costom look to there ride we can do it!
