5th gen fender roll question

So my wheels are 17x7.5 with 42 offset and 215/45/17 tires and i'm about ready to order a coilover kit, Function and Form Type 1. I want to go about 1.5-2 inches lower than stock and probably need a fender roll from the body shop. But i notice that the front tires stick out about a quarter inch from the fenders, can the fenders be rolled that much to accommodate this wheel setup??? thanks.

I also have wider wheels/tires than stock and found that with stock suspension the rears would rub on the fender lips during hard cornering. I had the lips rolled and everything is fine. I would REALLY recommend that you have a good shop do the work - one that has done this before. I had excellent results - no paint chips or cracks and no metal deformations.

You can always rent a roller. I did it myself on my car. Most shops usually charge between 50 to 75 per side. It's definitely worth it.

Wherever you take it, make sure you ask about how they roll the fenders. Some places will hack em with a dremel. Other places will just take a hammer to it. All the wrong ways right there. A reputable place will use a fender roller in combination with a heat gun so your paint does not crack while rolling.

I'm doing the exact same set up with my suspension (going with same coilovers.) What tire are you planning on using?

Just got my car lowered. Its about a 2 inch drop and the rear wheel just clear the fenders, a millimeter or two more and it would rub. No rubbing at all in front btw. Will post pics soon
