5gen headers: 1st gen and 2nd gen comparison

ok...i finally got around to installing Malken's 2000 spec header..
to my 1997 lude...

let's see...

while the header was out..me and my bro cleaned the
holes where the pipe connects too...

and i sandpapered the interiors of the new header clean too...

they looks smooth..and there was a lot of dirt in there...

anyhow...i test drove it...it seems like my car picked up some
power in da low-mid range...VTEC still feels strong...

i am NOT sure if it's the 5hp increase...or just da fact that i
cleaned and smoothed out the sh!t...but my car pulls smoother
and feels faster...

a lot like when u change the spark plugs and wires on a old car...
it feels smoother..and u get your "old" power back...

I took some pics...and i'll post them up soon...

Someone already posted a comparison along with pics, demonstrating that there was in fact no difference between the two headers.
