4th gen suspension on a 5th Gen

hey guys, im pretty sure this been covered already but i want to make sure.
my friend told me that the 4th gen and 5th gen can share the same suspension but does it matter what brand it is? because my other friend called tokico and they told him it wont fit... also another friend told me they cant share the same suspension because theyre totally different... but i see online car shops are posting the suspensions are for 1992-01 model preludes... and people online saying that theyre interchangable.... so im pretty confused...

in my case, i am trying to get Tokico illuminas and its coming off a 4th gen prelude with tokico springs... i have a 1999 honda prelude base model..

thank you in advance guys!

well, there reads on my BC Racing coilover papers that "92-01 Prelude", works and fits perfect. I asked that company to get me coilovers for 5th gen thats what I got. Cant you just ask the same thing; get me springs for 5th gen?
