40 offset?? Someone Help!

I'm lowered on Neuspeed Sport Springs, and there is a killer deal for 18'' racing hart cp-8's but they are 40 offset. Will and 18'' wheel with a 40 offset fit on a lowered lude?? Help please before i buy these!

The important factor here is how wide the rims are, and you did not mention that... On a 7" wide rim, +40mm offset is just fine. I'm running wheels that size and offset now. But if the wheels are 7.5" wide with a +40mm offset, then the wheel will be pushed out another 0.25", so that might not work...
