EBP, EBP, EBP. I agree with Greek Lude. Those of us with the Eucalyptus Green pearl with the tan and black interior are really special! I have never seen another car the same color as mine. I know they are out there, but the only green lude I've seen is the Ficus green and I don't think it is as good looking. And plus no two tone interior.

I'm not sure if they continued to make that beyond '98. I've only seen a couple on these boards, never seen one in person. J. Rico from Honda-Tech.com has one. I thought it was just a European thing. Wish I had one.

As for this debate about EXACTLY WHEN Honda discontinued production, I recall hearing back in May or June that Honda had officially stopped. It was posted here and on another board. I'll do a search if I get time.

It's NOT worth a flame war, which seems to be pretty one-sided, if you ask me.

Honda sold 9,462 Preludes in 2001 and 2,500 of them were EBP. By comparison 414,718 Accords were sold in 2001.

Of Honda's total sales in 2001 the Prelude (all models, colors, etc) made up less than 1% of all Honda's sold. 0.91% to be exact.

Good info!
More than 1/4 of the 2001 production run were EBP Preludes. So the owners of the four other colors (red, silver, black and white) are in the minority for the 2001 most common color sweepstakes.

EBP is cool - so are most of the colours. The greens are more rear in my opinion...

Anyway, as to build dates, Honda was still cranking them out as of August 2001 - and probably wrapped up production not long after. My friend also has an EBP - the build date is 08/01. So long kiddos!
