2. air filter change
3. inspection of brakes
4. inspection of hoses, clamps
5. inspection of joints, suspension
6. top off all fluids

And then they charge you like 200-400 dollars.

So you basically getting a very expensive oil change.
for anything that says inspect you are throwing away your money, unless your car has had some previous recurring problems...

i would tell them to charge me for an oil change and a transmission fluid change, the rest you can do yourself. Like air filter change, topping off fluids, tyre rotation, etc.

63 Month / 126,000 KM service (type 1)
Type1 service-oil&filt.insp.fluid levels check

Will they be charging ridiculous prices up to $300? What the heck man! Damnit.

My mechanic at Honda was a really cool guy. Because he couldn't change my air filter for my 30,000 he took off my intake and cleaned and polished out the inside of my throttle body for me. But it is definitly hella expensive. I think mine was like $385.

If I have to spend $300 I would have them

1) flush the radiator
2) adjust the valves
3) replace the brake fluid

And use the change to buy spark plugs, transmission fluid, motor oil, new wiper blades, air filter, oil filter, etc. and do them myself.

And use the remaining change to buy beer and tip the dancers.
