3 Grand for a R-33 tail light conversion

I was looking to add R-33 tails to my car in the nest lil whiles so I want out to a few shops for an estimate. The shop I go to (carboy) recommended me to go to Sabs conversions, actually a lot of shops recommended me to go there. They took some pics and finally gave me an estimate, $3200. If I do get it don't it'll be there but what do y'all think, worth it?

Hell no Personally i think conversions r pretty dumb and that is way over priced. Unless u plan on being in car mags i wouldn't.

Damn u buy a turbo for that much

NtPReLuDe-you ever roll out to the starbucks in front of the gallaria Saturday nights.

well my cousin did a taillight conversion on his teg. S2000 rears. he got it done at Sugar Creek. Giggles got his hatch done there also. supra fronts w/Lexus Altezza full rear. you heard of them? well after his conversion he kinda wishes he didnt go that route. lets just say you have to sell the car later on in the future. your resale on the car with a conversion sucks ass

I personally like the way the R-33 tails looks, so either way I think i'll be getting it done. Just have to wait until the import show here is over (mid march?) I don't care much for being in mags or shows either, its for me....
Surgar creek? which shop, got a phone #? Is the Lude wit s2k tails white? I thought he got it done at Sabs too... Well atleast some white lude from houston got s2k tails from Sabs.

Wait s2k on a teg! RCC???

the R33 skyline conversion is clean. The S2000 rear conversion doesn't look good at all, the car looks like it's melting.
I don't really like conversions. I think that if you're gonna try and make your car look like something else then you should've just gotten a different car. Skylines are an exception, since u can't get em here, but even then it's like trying to make your car look like something it's not.

well actually I was saving for a turbo, but then I was thinking if I was going turbo I want to be able to go with lotsa boost... ie.. pistons, rods, machined crank, sleeves the whole deal, that'd mount to maybe 6 Gs. The jrsc has its limits, I know 4 people personally who sc thier cars and got all 4 of them changed to turbo. Cayboy did 14 civic si who 13 of them got greddy's now. Don't want to go waste money like they did.

Hey dude that R33 tail light looks alright.

If you want that comment then go ahead and spend 3200 dollars... but it DEFINITELY isn't worth it.

just think what else you could do with 3g's. That so much money, I personally don't think its worth it either.
